René Etter

René Etter was born in Zurich 1941. He has come a long way in the graphic arts industry . After completion of training, he was first owner of a studio for graphic and screen and commercial printing. In addition, he has always been artistically active and devoted himself to actively promote arts. Among other things, he has worked since 1987 as the president of the group " ZINNOBER " and the Kunstverein Rorschach. With his wife, Monika , he led his own contemporary art gallery in Rorschach. In 2009 he wrote the book " The Art of your Art for Sale " with which he was able to celebrate a surprising success . René Etters art is as diverse as he is. His works range from socio-critical installations through impressionistic paintings to complex , abstract and even concrete looking paintings.
